Yes, it’s me.  

That’s me.  Going on 53 this year.

At this stage I m very thankful to be healthy.

Home office

I carved me a little nook in my printshop.

Sometimes I don’t get to go home like I want to or don’t want to.

And instead of using my office computer… I decided to make this my little home office away from home. 

 

Thinking of a DIY Catio

 

I want to build my cats a catio, so they can have access to fresh air.

I need something pretty easy to build and not a lot of tools needed to complete the project.

So what I think it’s best for my end is something like the picture above.

I already have these wire shelving unit that I have disassembled and just being stored in a bin somewhere

But the idea is something like this.  Multiple levels and and 3 columns of these wire shelving.

And I think this is one of the best configurations and all I will need to do is mount or screw it to the siding or the walls of the house.

I like how they have a plant.  

I like the ladder or bridge of this one.

This looks so simple enough but I will need to buy wood and cut some stuff.

So I’m back on this layout and configuation.

Eventually I would like to make it bigger.  And I just noticed the ground level.  I like that.  

Another day at the Office

I’m gonna learn how to take better selfie next time.

I really just wanted to take a selfie because I got me this new top.

You can easily spend over $20 bucks on these cookies.

Sometimes I let my sweet tooth take a hold of me.

But does it really justify spending so much for cookies?  

These cookies are delicious and so much better with milk.

Daily Roast in Monticelo Georgia

 

It was a hot day.  How did we find ourselves in this tiny town of Monticello Georgia.

Driving through these back roads, we stop by passing through this town and decided to quench our thirst with some southern ice cream.  It was worth every penny.  And they give you plenty of scoops to satisfy this summer heat.  The ice cream was so good, had to share it with you guys.

Looking for a park to get your walk on in Macon Georgia?

 

Carolyn Clayton Park - previously known to locals as City Park located in downtown Macon.  This park is pretty large.  It’s a great place to get your walk on. Not crowded and you usually will see park maintenance crew out and about.  They keep it neat and tidy and well maintained.  

It even have a skateboarding area.  

Love this murals at this building.

When in Griffin Georgia

Here we are again in Griffin Georgia this weekend.  Taking lunch at a local Mexican restaurant.  And I must say, not only do we enjoy the food and service but the price is very affordable.  Their lunch special is offered until 5pm.  Yes 5:00 pm.  We love that because we tend to eat late in the afternoon.  

Tell me where else you can eat out for lunch for less than $7.00

Life’s a Beach Cruiser

 

I’ve always wanted to pimp my ride and finally the dream has come true.

I even got a yard sign to hang on my beach cruiser and advertise my small business

The only problem is, I can’t recharge it because I accidentally glued it inside.

Sunday Painting

 

I needed display unit over my desk.  And I had this old piece that I purchased from a second hand store years ago.  It was aging on kitchen counter, holding some old spice containers.  I decided to give a good cleaning and paint it with different colors to give it a new life and a new purpose.

As you can see in the background, it was a lot lighter before I started.

I used different colors of acrylic paint and then trimmed it with black and I actually liked the way it turned out.

 

I had the urge to paint.  I was going to paint on Canvas.  I didn’t feel artistic enough but this project fed my need to create.  

But I’m not finish with it…. See yah next blog.

I came across this electric scooter and I have to say… I think I want one.

Honestly… it’s one of those things I didn’t know I needed until I saw it. Now I’m seriously considering it.
