Tattnall Square Park, Macon GA

Today was one of those perfect fall afternoons, clear skies, crisp air, and sunlight that makes everything feel a little more golden. I decided to take a walk through Tattnall Square Park, right here in Macon. I don’t know what it is about this park, but every time I come here, it feels like time slows down just enough for me to catch my breath.

The trees were glowing with that late autumn light, and the paths were quiet except for a few scattered leaves rustling under my steps. It felt peaceful, like the whole park was having a moment of stillness, and I was lucky enough to be part of it.

I snapped a quick self-portrait while walking. Nothing fancy, just me, my long black hair catching a bit of wind, and that classic curved walkway behind me. I wanted to remember how I felt in this moment, grateful, grounded, and smiling for no reason at all.

Tattnall has this quiet magic. It holds memories in its trees and stories in its sidewalks. I know I’ll look back on today and smile all over again.

No big story, just a beautiful day and a photo to hold it still.

A Yellow Flower Kind of Day

Sometimes, all it takes is a flower.

Today wasn’t about big plans or bold adventures. It was a simple day, sunshine pouring through the car window, a soft breeze whispering through my hair, and one yellow flower tucked behind my ear.

The flower? A yellow camellia (I think). Bright as morning light, soft as a smile. It wasn’t planned or styled, it was just a small, spontaneous moment of beauty that found its way to me. And I let it stay.

There’s something special about adding a little joy to your day, especially when it’s this simple. A flower doesn’t ask for attention, yet it changes everything, your look, your energy, your mood. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and couldn’t help but smile. I looked happy. I felt happy.

So here’s my gentle reminder to you: find your yellow flower. Whatever it may be. Add it to your day, wear it proudly, and let it remind you that beauty doesn’t need a reason.

USB Wall Power Charger

I was at the bus terminal recently and noticed that the power charger socket on the wall were made to fit USB cell phone charger.  I was amazed at the upgrade.  So I was even amazed that I can have this convenience at home.  My budget will not allow for a wireless charger just yet.  But I did order this 4 port usb wall charger on ebay.  and it has been a blessing.

It works great and organizes my charging station way better.  No more looking to pair USB chargers.  I can now charge multiple things on one charger without having to pair them with prongs.  So for $10 bucks this was definitely a must have.

I can now charge my phone, mp3 player, tablet, and bluetooth speaker with ease.
