New haircut

Was dreading getting a haircut.  But it was all for nothing and as a matter of fact, I really like my haircut

And had pizza afterwards

The Backyard I Miss: A Beautiful Tree and My Geodesic Dome

I came across these old photos from March 2016, and they immediately brought me back to a place I deeply miss — my old backyard. It wasn’t just a yard; it was a wide, open space where life unfolded quietly, beautifully.

One of my proudest little projects there was this metal conduit 2V geodesic dome that I built myself. It may not have been perfect, but I remember the satisfaction of piecing it together, measuring, cutting, and seeing it finally stand. It was my hands creating something real, something that stood there in that space I loved.

But the part I miss the most is that beautiful, blossoming tree. In these photos, it’s in full bloom — delicate white flowers covering every branch like a soft blanket of spring. That tree was the heart of the yard. It offered shade, beauty, and a quiet kind of peace that you don’t appreciate until it’s gone.

Looking back now, I realize how lucky I was to have that space, that time, those simple moments. It was a place where I could build, dream, and just be. The yard was wide, the tree was grand, and life felt a little slower there.

Sometimes we don’t realize how much we’ll miss something until we leave it behind. These photos remind me of that — to cherish the spaces, the trees, the projects, and the quiet mornings we too often overlook.

Christine Jones

Christine Jones was a very good friend of mine.  I called her “Tina”.  Mr. Dennard, a man I used to work for, once told me that, there’s a time in every person life, when life it self will begin to take things from you.  And One of those things life have taken is time.  I didn’t take time to see her once more before she died.  And I could have but I didn’t take time.  I haven’t seen her in years and through facebook, I got back in touch with her.  I even spoke to her on the phone.  I even planned to visit her down in Jacksonville Florida.  I kept making stupid excuses not to stop by my good friend.  And I didn’t even know she has passed away and it’s been years.  Here I am thinking she’s still alive and I can just reconnect.  But I am years too late.

So learn this lesson from me, go see your friends before its too late.

To make it even worst, her brother and sister also passed not too long after her.
