I am soooo happy! Got my not so new school bus. Won it from a government auction for $2K.
It is a 72 passenger school bus. It is a 2004 International. Won it in December but couldn’t pick it up until January 4, 2004.
This was at the location, which is Decatur Georgia.
Nice and clean inside.
Inside the Bus
That’s me!
Update June 2, 2024
The bus has been parked in our backyard acting as a storage. We emptied a storage full of books and now are being house inside the bus. It’s saving us money in a long run. That’s one less bill I have to pay for at the end of each month. There’s plenty of room in the bus. We haven’t removed the seats. Because we are thinking of putting this bus to work. There’s nothing wrong with it.
My husband knows his way around cars and trucks and he approved the purchased of this bus.
June 8 Update
Haven’t done much to the bus. I did purchased some locks for the window. Hopefully this will prevent the window from sliding down.
The seats have not been removed.
I am planning on removing at least 2 rows of seats from the back to help with storage.
Had to moved it from the backyard due to construction.
The seats are still in place.
Bought these window locks from Amazon. These should prevent or deter any attempt to slide the windows.
What on the To Do List
2. Remove 3 rows of Chairs from the rear of the Bus
3. Store the two Bikes from the Shed
4. Store the Beach Cruiser from the Office
5. Store the two folding Bikes
6. Make Copies of the Keys for Jamie
7. Count how many windows for Locks
8. Buy Angle Grinder 4 1/2 to remove seats
