I needed display unit over my desk. And I had this old piece that I purchased from a second hand store years ago. It was aging on kitchen counter, holding some old spice containers. I decided to give a good cleaning and paint it with different colors to give it a new life and a new purpose.
As you can see in the background, it was a lot lighter before I started.
I used different colors of acrylic paint and then trimmed it with black and I actually liked the way it turned out.
I had the urge to paint. I was going to paint on Canvas. I didn’t feel artistic enough but this project fed my need to create.
