Finally made to Jacksonville, FL

After along awaited journey, we made it here to Jacksonville, and I might just come out on top of things because of the trip.  Trying to deal with my brother in-law about his Van.
And ofcourse I have a chance to spend some time with my mother dearest and my sister.  Hopefully, I'll see more of my other family members.

But I really need my duplicate license.

What I want.

What I want is not too much to ask for.  It's not like I'm asking for WORLD PEACE, cure for all diseases or the answers to SAVE THE WORLD.  Nope,  Just as simple as:
  • Scooter
  • Adult Tricycle
  • Beach Cruiser Bike
  • and a Scooter Friendly or Bike Friendly City
  • HP Touch Screen
  • Netbook
  • White Work Van
  • PSP 3000 - for those long travel days
  • YUDU Machine
  • Shoe Organizer
  • Cap Organizer - gift to someone - I don't own hats
  • Shoe Pod
  • Shoe Wheel
  • Personal Rack - Collapsible One
  • Crickut Machine
Is this really too much to ask for.  I don't think so.  I just really want a small town thats not to small, techie friendly meaning have some wifi coffee shops here and there and bike friendly.

UFO Sightings in Harbour Mille

UFO sighting puzzles N.L. residents

Residents in Harbour Mille, a tiny community on Newfoundland's south coast, want to know what they saw in the sky Monday night.
Darlene Stewart said she was outside taking pictures of the sunset when she saw something fly overhead.

She snapped a picture of the object in an attempt to zoom in on it to see what it was.

"Even with the camera, I couldn't make it out until I put it on the computer," she told CBC News. "I knew then it wasn't an airplane. It was something different."
Stewart's picture shows a blurry image of what appears to be some kind of missile-like object emitting either flames or heavy smoke.
Elly Pardy also saw the object, as did other residents, and reported what she saw to the RCMP and federal fisheries officers.
"It appeared to come out of the ocean," she told CBC News. "It was like it was in the middle of the bay."
An RCMP officer was in the community Tuesday to investigate the reports.
Pardy said she'd like to know what the object was.
"It's kind of scary because you don't know if something is being set off out in the bay, [or] if someone is doing experiments," she said.
The residents plan to be outdoors again Tuesday evening to see if there is a similar sight in the sky.

Camera Bag

If you don't have one, betta get one.  A Camera Case for your digital camera.  Helps from scratches and bumps, and bruises.  Overall a must to have for your camera's protection.  Very affordable less than $5.00 at Radio Shack.

Necessities for Travel Techies

Portable mouse.  Got one from Staples for $19.95.  If you dislike wires as much as I do then I'm pretty sure you already have one of these wireless mouse.  I had a one by Microsoft before but they don't last last. They start acting funny after a year or so.  But logictech wireless mouse seems to be ergonomical and last longer and work better.

And if your a graphic artist like me and can't work without one, ofcourse if you gotta have one of these.

Camera Tripod

Have you ever wanted to take a picture of your self without holding the camera?  But there's no one to take your photo and do you trust anyone with your small digital camera?

Anyway This little gadget usually comes with any digital camera you buy.  But if your camera didn't come with one and you don't want to be carrying floor model one or a bigger one with will definitely fit in the back of your pocket or purse.  Again lightweight and will help you take your photo steady.  It screws in any small digital camera and will stand on any flat surface.  Set your camera to take picture on timer, walk away from it and take your photo.

Necessities for Travelers

Two-Way Head Phone Jack - Love this gadget.  Share your music without sharing your headphones.  This little gadget will help you share your music or video without sharing ear waxes.  A Must have for those traveling techies.

Battery Charger

Yes, if you're planning on heating the road without one of these, you are going to end up spending a lot more by buying batteries that will eat a whole in your pocket.  I cary one of these just in case.  Especially if your ipod or psp batteries are dead.  I have a small MP3 player that uses one AAA battery and last for five hours with one of those battery.  They are perfect for those long hours on the greyhound bus or in the back seat on someone elses car if you're not interested in listening to their type of music.  And perfect for those cheap digital cameras that uses AA batteries.  and I if you're an advent reader like I am I uses battery on my book light also.  Yes, A Battery Charger is a must,  and don't forget to purchase som rechargeable batteries.  Get some AAA and AA batteries.  Trust me you'll thank me for this.

I almost forgot to mention that this battery charger by Energizer also charges your battery by hooking it up to your computer or laptop.  Cool huh?

Laptop Coolers

If you're planning on traveling and happened to be a techie.  Here are some gadget can't leave home without.

Laptop Cooler

You're gonna need one these, especially if you're planning to travel in the summer.  Laptop coller are laptop's bestfriend.  Not only do they help your computer from crashing due to high temperature they are very inexpensive.  I bought this one from Sam's Wholesale Club for less than $20.  It came with a USB cord and a power supply you can plug in to an electrical outlet, just incase you don't want to use your usb for powe supply.  How it works is by attaching the USB cord to the coller and the laptop or plug in the power supply and press the on button.  Here's another perk for having this gadget.  It also serve as additional four USB ports.  Very light weight and easy to use and will help keep your laptop from sweating.  Trust me you don't want your computer to over heat like my Toshiba laptop did a couple of years ago and end up spending over $250 to get it fix and end up with a hardrive I can't no longer use.  The repair shop had to install a new hardrive because my over heated.  A Must On My List.

Don't order online with Dominos Pizza

It's around 9:30 at night and I decided to have a late dinner and didn't feel like cooking because there's really nothing to cook in the house.  I also ran out of minutes on my boost mobile phone.  But thanks to my  online store, I made a little bit of money, enough to order a pizza for my daughter and I.

As usual I decided we should order Dominos and again because I didn't have any minutes to spare on my cell, we went ahead and ordered the two medium pizza online, which totalled to about $14.00 and some change.  Dominos.com even have a pizza tracker.  You can monitor what is going on with your pizza.  So I walked away from my monitor and a couple of minutes later I get a call from the local Dominos store in my area who received my order online and said "THEY DON'T DELIVER PASS 9:30 ON MONDAY".  I'm find with that.  So I asked the man, "What about my money?".  He assured me that as soon as he pressed cancel on my order I should receive my money back.  I said no problem.  He said he was sorry that the website allows people to order online, even though it's not suppose to.

So I checked on my Paypal Credit card  onlne to see if my money is back, Guess what?  IT'S NOT!!!  That guy is going to hear from me again tomorrow if I don't get my money back soon.

The same incident happened to me with SAKURA Japanese Restaurant in Macon Georgia.  I placed an order and they cancelled it and I never receive my money back!!!!  that reminds me I'm calling them tomorrow.

MY SUGGESTION:
DON'T ORDER ONLINE WITH DOMINOS PIZZA!!!!
